The universe has a history !
This model is generally described as an expanding space from an initial singularity « The Big Bang » considered to mark the temporal and spatial origin of the universe.
It would have emerged ex nihilo or from something else, preexisting.
The universe has no history because the universe is the history!
The Einstein equation applied to cosmology describes the universe in its whole spatial and temporal extension. The spacetime that it defines includes space, time and movement. There is no need to define another external space and another external time including this spacetime which would define its beginning and its phenomenology.
To consider that the universe has a history is just an anthropomorphic misleading hypothesis!
